Rules for the certification of child-resistant Packaging

As an impartial certification body, ivm makes its services available, without distinction and at identical conditions, to all manufacturers and suppliers and/or users of child-resistant packaging or packaging components and to all companies that trade in such packaging or packaging components.

The methods used are governed by the provisions of child-resistant packaging. These provisions are observed in exactly the same strict manner, no matter who the customer is and what his interest may be. When giving our expert opinion on child resistance, our main concern is to avert danger to the health and life of young children.

On the other hand, the certification of packaging according to the provisions named above, helps to protect our customers from unjustified claims, although our certification does not relieve manufacturers of their liability as a producer.
